Welcome to Chloe Harris' Blog

"Chloe Harris" really is the pseudonym for two writers, Noelle and Barbra, who've joined forces to write intriguing and sexy stories. A quintessential eccentric southerner, Noelle seems to find a story in almost everything. Ever ambitious to change her stars, she has a degree in Communications. Barbra lives together with her cat ('Princess Mimi'), who isn't very happy that she is spending so much time on writing. But this folly of the living can opener with opposable thumbs is mostly tolerated.

Dimples and Abs, oh my!

by B*

Finally, Spartacus is back!!! I've waited so long - and have to wait longer still until the complete season 1 is available on DVD here.

But find me drooling over "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" every Friday meanwhile. Drooling, because it's no secret that I've got the hots for dimples. Or an Australian accent. Or blond hair. In "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena," Dustin Clare, an Australian actor with blond hair (for this role) and cute dimples, plays Gannicus. *sigh*

I loved "Spartacus: Blood and Sand." Andy Whitfield is simply gorgeous as Spartacus.

I hope he'll win the battle against cancer - and not because I'd love to see him as Spartacus again. That's just a role any actor can fill. I really wish him all the best. Read more.

The series has the history geek in me bounce up and down with joy. I've always been fascinated by ancient Roman life. The very first character I created and wrote stories about was a Roman. He was proud and aloof, arrogant and "devishly handsome", as Noelle put it. And one day he will re-emerge and get his own story. There's a time for everything...

Here's the first episode called "Past Transgressions" (aired last Friday):

Yes, according to the article about Andy Whitfield and his rebounded cancer, Starz planned to continue with the Spartacus story, however, they're waiting for Andy Whitfield to recover and meanwhile broadcast the story before season 1 takes place, so when and how everything began.

The first episode is grrrreat! Can't wait to see what happens next.
