L'Île de Ronde
Secrets of Sin is set on L'Île de Ronde.
Ronde Island is a real place, a small islet between Grenada and Carriacou (Grenadines). It is completely isolated and untouched by development, fishing or run-off. Underwater visibility typically exceeds 30m. Sea turtles, large pelagic fish and green moray eels are common. A stunning sea-bottom topography includes breathtaking drop-offs over 'bottomless' vertical walls, coral-encrusted canyons - and even a swim-through cave which opens to an underground cavern decorated with stalactites and quartz crystals.
Last time we checked Ronde is for sale! It can be yours for the measly sum of $ 100,000,000.00 USD.
In case Secrets of Sin inspires you to buy it, have a heart and invite us for a short stay there. Okay?

Emiline's heritage
Who Emiline is came in part out the idea of who her father was. He is based on the real historical figure of John Julian, half African half mosquito Indian pirate ship pilot (learn more about the Whydah). | Unlike John Julian who was most likely sold into slavery after surviving a ship wreck, Emiline’s father wrecked the ship on purpose to fake his own death and live on his own private island with his treasure and his beautiful French wife. |
