Recently, on a loop I belong to someone posted the following quote:
If you stuff yourself full of poems, essays, plays, stories, novels, films, comic strips, magazines, music, you automatically explode every morning like Old Faithful. I have never had a dry spell in my life, mainly because I feed myself well, to the point of bursting. I wake early and hear my morning voices leaping around in my head like jumping beans. I get out of bed to trap them before they escape. --Ray Bradbury
I loved the quote, I’ve loved Ray Bradbury since I was a kid and I must admit I don’t feed her enough. But I vow to now try my best to make time to feed her well. She’ll now get a steady diet of my new favorite TV show, Kings, more NPR and Radio Paradise. I'll finally get that subscription to Vanity Fair and try my best to find more time to read. I might even reread my favorite Ray Bradbury, The Veldt.
So tell me, how do you feed your muse?
