I am so lucky that things/dreams come true where I thought they’d never ever happen in a million years – but the same moment that happens something really awful happens as well. Like this morning when I got a parking lot at a time where you shouldn’t get one and especially after two other cars were before me and didn’t see it. Then two hours later at uni where I was to meet the prof and get this one book from him that’s supposedly imperative, he’s not there and that oh so important book is locked up in his office.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5862302997225239634.post-19575808882196134382009-03-17T15:48:00.000-05:002009-03-17T15:48:00.000-05:00Um, Bob? Ishmael? ;-)

Here's a good luck toast for you:

May those that love you, love you.
And those that don't, may God turn their hearts.
And if he can't turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so you'll know them by their limping.

My grandmother had that on a plaque on her wall. It's an old Irish toast. That's Irish good luck. :-DSamantha Kanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15714986331449463732noreply@blogger.com
